Mill Lane
Family & Dog-Friendly Campsite, Porthleven
ABOUT US
Run by Kim and Simon Stone, Mill Lane is a family & dog friendly caravan and camping site, based just outside of the ancient fishing village of Porthleven.
The camp site has large and level pitches, which give plenty of space for all the family to enjoy. There is a gravel road around the top field on-site, and during the warmer months we have a bottom field that's also in use with many additional pitches. We have pitches available for tents, cars, caravans and motorhomes - or even those on foot!

We have our onsite free house, Out of the Blue selling the world famous Cornish ale Spingo, which is brewed in the market town of Helston in the sister pub, The Blue Anchor Inn. You are never far away from a refreshment. The free house has a pool table, shows live sport and hosts live music throughout the year. You can play Bingo every Friday evening at 7pm with fabulous cash prizes, and of course not forgetting the meat draw every Sunday at 5pm.

Our campsite is a short, level walk into Porthleven harbour, where you can immediately enjoy famous eateries, and shop local produce. Surfers can enjoy the waves, and for those wanting to stretch their legs, the camp site is very close to the World Heritage Coastal Path.
Mill Lane is also just 7 minutes from the small town of Helston, where you can enjoy pleasant walks around National Trust land, the boating lake, and of the main town. Helston is also host to the Museum of Cornish Life, which is free to enter and contains a fantastic array of items that depict Cornwall's mining and fishing history. Cornwall's only city of Truro is just 40 minutes away. The nearest train station is Penzance, just 25 minutes away, where you can catch trains to the coastal locations of St Ives, Carbis Bay, and Hayle. The nearest bus stop is just on our doorstep at the camp site; perfect if you're wanting to leave the motorhome on the pitch and catch the bus to many of the stunning locations the south coast has to offer.
